REMOTE DEMOS
FOR VOCALISTS
During the lockdown, the only way to record a client’s voice was remotely. With care, the results can be so successful that I am now offering a ‘remote’ demo recording service, whereby you play your backing track in your headphones, record your vocal on your smartphone, then send the two elements to me and I will do the rest!
This is an affordable and realistic way to record a good quality vocal demo. I take great care with the editing, and step by step instructions can be provided regarding the appropriate smartphone mic settings etc.
Prices start from £75 plus VAT per song - please contact me for further details, and to discuss your specific requirements.
I am pleased to offer students and new graduates a 10% discount on the final price.

VOCAL COACHING & ACCOMPANIMENTS
Whether you want to prepare for an audition or just gain confidence with a particular song, please contact me, and I will get straight back to you.
Having been on numerous audition panels and witnessed at first hand many candidates not doing their best, for various reasons, I know that being fully prepared with an appropriate song is vital in order to maximise your potential and opportunities.
Vocal Coaching sessions are £50 per hour and £30 for half an hour. I also offer discounted ZOOM sessions online @ £45 per hour or £25 for 30 minutes.
High quality rehearsal piano accompaniments can be recorded to order, starting from £30. This can include 3 files: 1) the melody 2) the accompaniment, and 3) the melody + accompaniment.
Finished recordings can be supplied as .WAV, .AIFF, or .MP3 files.

TRANSPOSITIONS
& ARRANGEMENTS
If your sheet music is in an inappropriate key for you, we can transpose it for very reasonable rates.
We can also arrange songs for a specific band line up. For all arranging and music copying we use Sibelius - the world’s leading music notation software.

Sheet music, vocal scores, and song books can be purchased at a variety of outlets, including musicroom.com, sheetmusicdirect.com, musicnotes.com, dotsmusiccamden.co.uk and also Yamaha Music London (formerly Chappell’s Of Bond Street).
Printed music can be expensive - I am happy to discuss repertoire requirements with you before you decide to buy.
BACKING TRACKS
& JINGLES
If you’re having trouble obtaining a good quality backing track, please call for details.
Full tracks can be custom made, starting from £250 plus VAT for a typical three minute song.
These bespoke tracks are of a much higher musical quality than typical ‘karaoke’ tracks found on many websites.
Jingles can be recorded to a high quality - either starting from scratch in any style or genre according to your requirements, or recording and mixing your own music and lyrics. Recently I have had the pleasure of producing such a jingle for The Coqopan Company - do have a listen!

MARCUS SAVAGE
Music has been my life ever since my junior school phoned my parents when I was four years old and told them to ‘buy the boy a piano’, such was my fascination with the keyboard! I became a junior exhibitioner at the Royal Academy Of Music, then studied full time at the Guildhall School Of Music & Drama, graduating in 1985, having won the Walter Hyde Memorial Prize.

My first professional job in theatre was Assistant Musical Director for a national tour of Cabaret in 1986 and its subsequent transfer to the Strand Theatre. I met my wife, a member of the Cast in the ‘Lady Orchestra’ who has subsequently forged a highly successful career as a singing teacher: Kathleen Savage - Love Your Voice!
The following year I was invited to play the solo on-stage piano role of 'Oscar' in 42nd Street (Theatre Royal, Drury Lane), and I have been fortunate to be working continuously in the West End ever since.
My positions as Musical Director include Chicago (Adelphi Theatre), Saturday Night Fever (London Palladium) and Black Goes With Everything (Churchill Theatre, Bromley), and credits as Assistant Musical Director include The Rink (Cambridge Theatre), Me & My Girl (Adelphi Theatre), Grease (Dominion & Cambridge Theatres), and Starlight Express (Apollo Victoria Theatre).
My work as a freelance keyboard player includes the West End productions of Chess, Les Miserables, Crazy For You, Leonardo, Mamma Mia!, The King & I, Kiss Me, Kate, and Thoroughly Modern Millie.
Other projects include being Musical Director for Grange Hill (BBC T.V. 1995-6), and composing background music for Rediffusion International.
I have worked as a vocal coach at a number of the UK’s leading stage schools, including Performers College, East 15 Acting School, The Guildhall School Of Music & Drama and The London Studio Centre.
I am very proud to be London Musical Director of Mamma Mia! - a position I have held since 2005, together with supervising the Milan production in 2010. This amazing show continues to be a huge part of my life, and I still feel privileged to preside over those famous ABBA hits every night.
